SHOUT Hotshots: Gameweek 10

Most of the big guns deceived us again in Gameweek 9 as we watched Chelsea humble Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. But it was a week where clean sheets were in abundance and the goalkeeper and all the three defenders suggested by Shout Hotshots fetched at least six points.

Here are your best eleven for Gameweek 10.

Three clean sheets in the last four games make Arsenal defense a must and we suggest taking Petr Cech between the sticks against bottom of the table Sunderland, who have the worst goal-scoring record, netting only six times.

Manchester United were hammered by Chelsea last week, but the midweek EFL Cup win over archrivals City suggests they were to be back to their usual self soon enough. Against Burnley at home, Antonio Valencia promises returns at both ends of the ground.

Watford have kept back-to-back clean sheets, and against a Hull side that would miss the inspirational Robert Snodgrass they look likely to be defensively solid. José Holebas has already scored twice and at 4.6m taking him is a no-brainer.

Stoke did not keep a clean sheet in the first seven games, but they did register one in each of the last two games. Against second bottom Swansea at home, 4.4m priced Erik Pieters looks a very good option.

Philippe Coutinho has been in scintillating form and there is no way you can keep him off the team, even when he plays Crystal Palace away.

Alexis Sanchez did not score in the last three games, but against Sunderland you will certainly expect the barren run to end.

Xherdan Shaqiri reminded us of his abilities with a brace last week and a home game against Swansea is not a bad time to get him in.

Eden Hazard has scored in the last two league games and Chelsea’s penalty-taker is looking confident of continuing this form. The way they hammered champions Leicester and United in those games, only gives Hazard owners further hope.

At 9.7m, the in-form Romelu Lukaku is a must. This season’s only hattrick-man plays West Ham at home, who do not have the best defensive record.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not scored in the last five games, but against Burnley you expect that to change. He and his team-mates will be determined to banish last game’s blues, and if you are sticking with the Swedish striker, may be this week he will reward your patience.

Watford skipper Troy Deeney completes our three-man front line. He has not scored in the last two matches, but he is on penalties and the Hornets will rely on his predatory instincts against Hull.
