SMALL IS GOOD

There’s a Bangla proverb that has something to do with small chillies being spicier that used to gross me out once upon a time. But with time and understanding, I’ve come to terms with the merits of this thought.

Small is great if you’re trying to fit into an undersized seat in public transport. Small is amazing if you’re talking about expenditures, or about a step for man that’s also a giant leap for mankind. I like my corn small and baby-like, and all the rappers seem to want people to know they’re anything but big. There might be some disagreement on this, but I’m of the opinion that human beings are more bearable if they’re little. Again, in my experience, people are prone to taking small suggestions as opposed to big ones. Recently, you’d have seen in the news that one small girl is trying to make the world realise that it needs to do big things to ensure its future survival. She’s trying to make the world realise it needs to make huge changes if it wants smaller carbon emissions.

Small is mostly good, but not always. At the end of the day, if you’re stuck being a small fry, instead of being sad, you can always try and make big of it.
