IUBAT arranges book reading competition

International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) organised the “Certificate Awarding Ceremony for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019” for the British Council Book Reading Competition on July 16, 2019 at IUBAT Conference Hall, in collaboration with the British Council. 

Prof. Dr. Abdur Rab, VC of IUBAT, presided over the programme. In his presidential speech, he underscored the necessity of English learning for the IUBAT students. Dr. Momtazur Rahman, Professor and Coordinator of the Department of Languages delivered his welcome address. Prof. Dr. Hamida Akhtar Begum, Pro-VC of IUBAT, urged the students to use their reading habits to hone their English skills.

Chief guest Kirsty Crawford, Program Director of Libraries Unlimited was present at this ceremony and outlined numerous suggestions for reading and urged the students to adhere to their habit of reading.
