Internal Confusion

Hridoy: Hey, what are you up to? This feels different.

Medha: Don’t worry. I have a good feeling about this. Just go with the flow.

Udor: This doesn’t look like it concerns me. Hridoy isn’t paying me any attention anyway. I think I’ll just take a nap.

Fushfush: I don’t think Medha knows what she’s doing. This does not feel good.

Peshi: I’m with Fushfush on this. What is this? Stop. It hurts!

M: Calm down you two! Trust me.

H: Wait, are we running from something? Oh no, oh no, oh no! My ancestors warned me about this. In their time, we had to flee or fight to survive. But this wasn’t how it was supposed to be now! I thought Medha’s ancestors came up with many new technologies to handle those predators. I thought we had hunted them down to extinction. What’s chasing us now?!

M: Oh dear. No one is chasing us, Hridoy.

F: Are we going somewhere, then? Are we late? Why don’t you just take the moving metal box? I like the moving metal box. The cool smokeless air feels good. I mean, it’s not dusty here, but boy does it stink. Is that us?

M: No way! We don’t stink! I explicitly remember reminding Nabil to put on deodorant. I still feel terribly embarrassed about letting him down last week when he was trying to impress Tamanna.

H: Tamanna. We like her. She’s so cute. When will we see her next Medha?

M: Soon. Trust me. With the work we’re doing now, she’ll be so impressed!

F: Hridoy, stop skipping at the thought of Tamanna. Keep up with me. I think I’m starting to get the hang of this. Woah, look how big I can get!

M: Hridoy is always over-excited. Don’t worry my man. I’ve got this under control. Once Udor gets in shape and finally decides to stop blocking our advances, I’m sure she’ll love us.

U: Hey. Did I hear you complain about me? I’m not the one making the decisions here, you know. I didn’t tell you to pass that delicious red velvet cupcake to me yesterday. You did that all by yourself.

M: An unfortunate slip up on my part. I shouldn’t have done that. Regardless, we shall burn those calories today.

H: But if we’re not running from or to anything, what are we even doing?

M: We’re just running.

H: Just running? And not going forwards or backwards? You’re making no sense. I have to work overtime to keep up. Fushfush, can’t you slow down a bit?

F: I can’t. It hurts Peshi more if I do. Medha, you need to stop. It’s been over 20 minutes. I don’t think Peshi can go on much longer. And you know what happens if you over extend her and her twin.

M: Hmm. You’re right. They’ll complain all night. I can’t afford that today. We have to meet Tamanna tomorrow. We must look our freshest.

P: Hey, don’t talk about me like I can’t understand you. I’m just as much of an organ as you guys!

M: Sure you are honey. Okay, I think we can take a break now. I knew this was a good idea. I feel so pumped!

U: Ooh, we’re taking a break? Can we get some cupcakes?

Medha, Hridoy: No!
