EU congratulates newly appointed UGC Chairman

Eastern University (EU) congratulated the newly appointed Chairman of University Grant Commission (UGC) Prof. Dr. Kazi Shahidullah. A higher-ranked delegation from EU met at his office on May 29, 2019 to congratulate him. 

The delegation comprised of Md. Liaquat Hossain Moghul, Chairman of Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, VC; AS Mahmud, Treasurer; Prof. Dr. Md. Anowar Zahid, Dean of Faculty of Law; Prof. Dr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Dean, Faculty Engineering & Technology; Mohd. Moniruzzaman Akhand, Chairperson of English Department; Sajed Fatemi, Director of Public Relations and Kazi Farhana Islam, PS to VC (In-charge).

During the short meeting, VC Prof. Dr. Hossain extended warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Shahidullah. He gave an introduction about Eastern University, its development prospects and cooperation. Prof. Dr. Shahidullah expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the warm reception by EU.
