8 Fashion Crimes Guys Need to Stop Committing

From boyhood to adulthood, a man learns small lessons on how to look good – even 'amazing'. However, sometimes good taste in style is not a man's strong point.

Now, it is important to address 'why' one should invest time and money into improving one's appearance. The following are formidable reasons to persuade you. Some might find these to be common sense, but I'm pretty sure that most of you guys will find them eye-opening.

Wearing worn out and beaten down shoes

I don't care how good the other items of your ensemble look, if you fail to wear shoes that are clean and in good shape, your whole outfit will be a mess.

Solution: Save up and buy quality shoes that last a long time. Quality over quantity, always.

Deep V-necks

CRINGEWORTHY. Please for the sake of your dignity, and also HUMANITY, don't wear these.

Over-reliance on branding

Brands are not what make up your clothes, so if you are currently proud of simply buying clothes from any brand regardless of style, then you are wasting your precious money.

Solution: Buy clothes based on how they fit, feel, and look, rather than the logo they carry.

Wearing sandals all the time

Sandals are seasonal, so don't make them your everyday wear. Time and place, my friend.

Leaving clothes in a heap

Leaving clothes in a messy heap will compromise their longevity. You spent good money to buy them, so why not take care of them?

Solution: Hang your clothes in your wardrobe, and fold your T-shirts neatly. This will keep them in good condition.

Wearing shades indoor

You might think you look cool and unstoppable, but you are completely wrong. Sunglasses are made for the sun, so please don't wear them inside. Additionally, they will make you look less approachable.

Yellow, red, pink, purple… jeans

Don't choose random colours when buying jeans; basic colours are good enough to make you look sophisticated and attractive.

Solution: When buying jeans, choose from the basic and dark colours like black, blue, dark blue, grey etc.

I just woke up and I don't care

Wearing the same hoodies, sweatpants, and flip flops at home and when going out doesn't work. It makes you look lazy, and you won't create a good impression on the person you're meeting for the first time.
