Being the Tech Guy

If someone is half-way decent with computers or tech in general, they will probably be elected as the "Tech-Guy" by a few of their peers. It's like being that member of the Black Eyed Peas. You know you're there, everyone knows you're there and acknowledges it but you have no influence. When a PC or a smartphone malfunctions and you're called to fix things up, you're the hero. Only for the first time. The second time the PC malfunctions and you fire it up to see 500 types of different malware installed, you're met with the condescending "you did something to the PC the last time and now it's this way." 

The blame is instantly removed from the person who browses questionable sites and streams questionable videos containing chickens intermingling with bearded grown men. Apparently, the Tech-Guy, who goes around providing free tech support, messes with people's computers for no good reason.
