Workshop on Pronunciation at EU

Eastern University Language Club (EULC) held a day-long "Workshop on Pronunciation" on April 4, 2015 on Bangla and English pronunciation. VC of EU, Prof. Dr. Abdur Rab inaugurated the workshop with an emphasis on the need for correct pronunciation and asked the members of EULC to go above formalities to continue their good efforts to enhance students' language skills. 

Prof. Dr. Kashinath Roy (Dean, Faculty of Arts), Suriya Huda (Chair, Department of English), faculty members, members of administration along with 50 students were present at the inauguration. Dr. Bhaswar Banerjee, a renowned actor, voice and speech trainer and theatre director of Bangladesh conducted the session on Bangla pronunciation. The second session on English pronunciation was conducted by Maggie Espino, English Language Fellow, US Department of State. 
The day-long workshop ended with handing over certificates to the participants.
