IBA-JU holds MBA Graduation Night

Institute of Business Administration, Jahangirnagar University (IBA-JU) celebrated its MBA Graduation Night on September 1, 2018 at Le Meridien, Dhaka. Prof. Dr. Farzana Islam, VC, Jahangirnagar Unversity (JU) was the chief guest of the programme.

Aman Ashraf Faiz, MD, GTV Ltd.; Yuichiro Ishii, MD & CEO, Bangladesh Honda Pvt. Ltd.; Quazi Osman Ali, MD & CEO, Social Islami Bank Ltd.; and Dr. Rubana Huq, MD, Mohammadi Group were present as special guests. Julie Nickles, Cultural Affairs Officers, US Embassy, Dhaka attended the programme as the representative of the US Ambassador to Bangladesh.

In addition, more than one hundred and fifty business graduates who have already received MBA degrees under the WMBA Program of the institute attended the event. Dr. Ireen Akhter, Coordinator of the WMBA Program, delivered her welcome speech following the inauguration. After this, sixteen students who topped in their corresponding semesters were given medals as recognition of their academic feat. The formal session of the graduation night ended with a concluding speech by Prof. Dr. Motaher Hossain, Director, IBA-JU. The noted guests gave speeches, appreciating the academic achievement of the participating business graduates.
