DIU observes 49th Victory Day

Daffodil International University (DIU) paid its debt of gratitude to the national heroes who laid down their lives for Bangladesh by placing wreaths at the National Memorial at Savar on December 16, 2019. A team led by Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, Director of Student Affairs, placed floral wreath at the National Memorial. Md. Anowar Habib Kazal, Senior Assistant Director (Public Relations), teachers, students and high officials of DIU accompanied the team. 

A colorful victory rally was brought out from the main campus. Besides this, the programme included poetry recitation, ‍music, debate and dance-drama was staged by the members of 'All Star Daffodil'. Mahabub Parvez, Head, Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management was present as the chief guest while Anuj Chakraborty, Moderator, DIU Cultural Club was present as the special guest. A large number of students and faculties were present at the programme.
