BRACU signs agreement with Texas A&M University-Commerce

BRAC University (BRACU) signed an agreement with Texas A&M University-Commerce (TAMUC) recently to initiate student, faculty and staff exchange, research and grant application collaboration, initiation of joint projects with societal impacts, etc. BRACU VC Prof. Vincent Chang signed the agreement which was also signed by TAMUC President Dr Mark Rudin, and brought in by TAMUC College of Business Dean Dr Mario Hayek. BRAC Business School (BBS) Dean Dr Sang Lee and Dr Hayek were instrumental in finalising the agreement.

The signing ceremony took place during the official visit of Dean Hayek to BRAC University. The ceremony was witnessed by Dean Sang Lee and other senior administrators of BRAC University.

The agreement will enable BBS students to start their bachelor degrees at BRACU and finish at TAMUC. The agreement will also allow BBS bachelor graduates to study in relevant graduate programs in the business disciplines at TAMUC with more than 40 percent reduced tuition fees. These agreements will help aspiring BRACU students to enrol into TAMUC undergraduate and graduate programs.

As part of a continuous drive towards internationalisation, recently BRACU has had collaboration agreements with international universities like University of Lincoln, University of Kent and California Northstate University.
