SIMS Free Play

WOOHOO at the Press of a Finger

Platform: iOS, Android

The Sims Freeplay brings to your smartphone the magic of being a creator and controlling every aspect of a fictional town with fictional people - as with any Sims game - and which gets addictive right from the get go (if you spend 99% of your time staring at your phone already, be prepared to sacrifice that last 1%)

Soon you'll find yourself spending prolonged periods of time creating new Sims, and buying houses, furniture, decorations, and of course playing with your Sims' hearts, creating love triangles, hexagons, decagons, you name it! Get real artsy while rebuilding homes, creating pools, basements, balconies etc. The game provides a long range of options to fulfill even the most meticulous of perfectionists. All this purchasing needs Simoleons of course, wherein you send your Sims to work, or better, plant fruits/vegetables for a little Farmville-esque fun.

Micro-managing your Sims' lives, making sure they don't starve or wet themselves and get enough sleep can and did get tiresome. Often times you'll facepalm yourself wondering why a sim is standing in a puddle of his excrement when the toilet is a few feet next to him. The Sims Freeplay however, runs on real time, so all you need to do is check on your Sims from time to time, dish around a few orders, send your Sims to work and voila.

All in all, the game offers a vast variety of things to do, and fun quests to complete. If you're cool with trading real-life time with meaningless time on your phone, this just might be the best way to do it.
