RPGs on mobile devices tend to feel far heavy than they should be. It's awkward playing a God of War rip-off that slowly turns my phone into an induction cooker. Not to mention the time investment each levels may take. We've often seen that simple games fare much better in the mobile world. 

So where does a game like The Last Vikings fit in? It's an RPG that manages to meld a few minigames into one packaged experienced that you can simply flit in and out of. Even if you have to quickly close the app and do something else, it won't hurt because the stage-by-stage progress is not difficult to achieve. You grow attached to the tiny, cute Vikings and their wacky names. Get a ship, get a crew, sail,  and plunder away!
