Nissan GTR Nismo: punch to the face

If you think the 2017 facelift isn't dramatic enough, you will be content with the 2017 Nismo GTR- it has a garish front look with an all new massive down-force enhancing bumper. There is abundant raw carbon fiber everywhere- the grille, front spoiler, bonnet scoops, side mirrors, side skirts, rear diffuser and wing. The major upgrade is in the interior, which has a redesigned dashboard, steering wheel and centre arm rest, all covered in Alcantara leather. The cluster of 27 switches and buttons has been dissolved to just 11, meaning more simplified and integrated navigation and audio controls. Performance has been slightly notched up too, with a stiffer, more reinforced body. Power from the Nismo VR38DETT has also been pushed up to 592 HP and 481 lb-ft of torque, which is considerably more than the standard version.
