BMW 2 SERIES COUPE

When we drove the BMW 2-series last year, we were immensely impressed by its road holding abilities and its liveliness. We thought it was a great sports car, and true to BMW's self-purported tag of "Ultimate Driving Machine".

This year, BMW is giving the 2-series an effective facelift which comprises of bigger, more aggressive bumpers, a new range of lightweight alloys, new paint and headlights. While the basic design largely remains the same as that of the outgoing model, the refresh leaves the 2-series, especially in coupe form, much more aggressive and coherent. It's never a bad thing to have a basic BMW look closer to their M-spec siblings, and that is exactly what has happened here.

Under the hood you get the same range of 3-4-6 cylinder motors, with power ranging from 136 HP all the way to 340 HP. In Bangladesh, we get the highly efficient and technically marvelous 3-cylinder TwinPower Turbo motor, which puts out just about enough power to make things interesting for the RWD coupe.
