Cartoonist Sharier Khan's first solo political cartoon exhibition began today at Galleri Kaya at Uttara in the capital.

The exhibition titled ‘Time Line’ will feature a limited edition of 61 originally signed and numbered cartoons that cover the period between 2003 and 2014.

Organised by Galleri Kaya, the exhibition will remain open everyday from 11:00am to 8:00pm till June 27.

Renowned artist and cartoonist Prof Shishir Bhattacharjee inaugurated the exhibition sponsored by ADN Group.

Khan, who is a deputy editor of The Daily Star, has been doing cartoons for many years for the country’s leading English daily.

In addition to the political satires, the spectators will see the evolution in the style and characteristics of Khan's work.

All the cartoons are digitally finished and reasonably priced so that interested people can pick them up.

A majority of the cartoons are also available in their original format.
