A book of essays focusing on war crimes, Jamaat-e-Islami's role, and extremism, “Gonoadalat theke Gonojagoron Mancha” (From People's Court to Gonojagoron Mancha), was launched in the Amar Ekushey Granthamela yesterday.
The launch marked the first anniversary of Gonojagoron Mancha, a platform formed on February 5, demanding highest punishment for all war criminals.
Eminent personalities and activists of Ekatturer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee, which pioneered the anti-war criminal movement in early 1990s through Gonoadalat attended the ceremony at Bangla Academy. The author, Shahriar Kabir, could not attend the programme, as he is abroad.  Yesterday, 76 new books arrived and two other books were launched.
