Silence is SUSTainable education: VC

"If silence can be the sign of consent, why shouldn't it be the sign of sustainable education?" the spokesperson of VC, a group of meritorious students popularly known as Valo Chatra, asked during a press conference.

"You should keep silent in every matter even if you are beaten or oppressed. If we can spread this silent message to every nook and corner of the country, our education system will thrive. That's how we can achieve Sustainable Development Goals by ensuring SUSTainable education for all," VC insisted.

It has become an annoying reality that students of Chapasthan start a movement whenever they stumble across any issue. As a result, classes get cancelled and students are deprived of getting proper education, said VC members.

"It's bewildering that students are harming themselves in the name of protests and movements where they can easily avoid these disadvantages just by being silent. Why do they always need to raise voice against injustice and disparity when he or she could easily just let the matter go by being silent? In this manner, students are moving awa from actual sustainable education. No wonder education in this country is in such a sorry state.

"Don't argue with your teachers even if they provoke you or misbehave. What in fact do you mean by misbehave? If teachers are doing it, it can't be misbehaviour, it's just behaviour. Their behaviour represents their good judgement and your silence represents your education. The more you are silent, the better the education you will receive," the VC spokesperson thus advised students on how they too could be a part of VC someday.

Due to this ill-advised movement and protest, some students were seen roaming around at night in campus for absolutely no purpose. That surely went directly against Chapasthan's culture, name, fame, etc. Economists fear Chapasthan may face a sharp deterioration in GDP growth because of this heinous frequentation of female students at night.

The Valo Chatra group couldn't hold back their powerful words after seeing such a sinful deed, the spokesperson said. "You are not a nocturnal animal, are you? Then why are you roaming around at night? Don't you want to get married? Who will marry such a nocturnal animal, I mean, female?" the VC spokesperson asked.

"What a diminution of the education system! Some are protesting at night and others are walking to and fro, supposedly protesting. Who is actually studying?" the VC spokesperson continued asking.

"How will this country be developed if we spend our time by protesting instead of studying?"

Indeed, such students have been leaving signs of their stupidity from time immemorial. Standing with a placard in hand and delivering some unwholesome slogans cannot be the duty of students. Their one and only focus should be on practising how to keep silent after tolerating nationwide injustice, discrimination, oppression, violence, obscenities, misbehaviour towards students and thus becoming a part of sustainable and continuing education.
