Murad Takla no more?

Following the prime minister's order to Murad Hassan to step down from his post as state minister for information and broadcasting, many people of the country mistakenly abandoned a rich cultural heritage.

For two days following Murad's ouster, netizens were shocked to see commenters on Facebook posts saying, "Nice lagchhe apu, chokh e pani chole ashchhe (looking nice sister, brings tears to my eyes)".

"Where is nyc lagca api? Where is it??" asked a Murad Takla enthusiast in despair after seeing the state of affairs.

Star Satireday did some digging and found that people had mistaken Murad Hassan's cancelling for the cancellation of the Murad Takla subculture, by which Bangla can be written in English the way it was meant to be.

When the despairing commenter was told that all was okay, he said, "Tanc ioo bae, akon ape dar daka aagar moto commant corta parbo (Thank you bhai, now I can comment when I see sisters, like I did before)."
