Cate Blanchett to visit Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar March 17

UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and acclaimed actress Cate Blanchett is set to visit the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox's Bazar of Bangladesh on March 17.

The two-time Academy award winning actress will be coming on a four-day visit, according to her website.

This will be her third humanitarian trip in refugee camps, the website said.

About 700,000 Rohingyas arrived in Bangladesh after August 25 last year, when the Myanmar military launched a brutal crackdown in Rakhine which the United Nations called "a text book case of genocide".
