Kabir Suman sings for Rohingyas

Renowned Indian Bangla songwriter and singer Kabir Suman has just released a track condemning the Myanmar military for persecuting Rohingya people who are crossing into Bangladesh from their own land of Rakhine state.

"SOME BANGLADESH AND WEST BENGAL FRIENDS TOLD ME TO MAKE THIS SONG. THE FIRST RECORDING I DID AND THE FIRST MIX I UPLOADED WAS OF EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY. SO I REDID THE VOICE AND TOOK ANOTHER MIX WHICH I AM UPLOADING NOW. THIS IS SOMEWHAT BETTER," says Suman on Soundcloud today.

In a grim tone, the singer condemns Myanmar military persecution on the Rohingyas. He mocks peace and the symbol of lotus in the 4:32-minute song.
