11 Rohingyas detained from Cox’s Bazar Jamaat leader’s flat

A mobile court today detained 11 Rohingyas including five children from a flat of a Jamaat leader in Cox's Bazar town.

Acting of a tip-off, a team led by Executive Magistrate Ahsan Murad detained them from the flat rented by the district unit Jamaat leader Shafiqul Alam Bahadur, a Sadar upazila vice-chairman, in Burmese market area around 5:00pm, reports our local correspondent.

The detained people will be taken to Rohingya camp in the district, the magistrate said, adding that they also detained the owner of the house.
