Road crashes kill four

Countrywide road accidents killed four people and injure two others yesterday.

Our Thakurgaon correspondent reports, Asim Barman, 11, died and his father Dhaniram Barman of Dakhin Bothina Sardarpara village was injured when a truck hit a bicycle in Sardarpara village on Thakurgaon-Farabari road in Sadar upazila.

Our Gazipur correspondent reports, two people died when a truck turned turtle as the driver lost his control over the vehicle on Kapasia-Rajendrapur road in Rajabari area of Sreepur upazila.

The deceased were Sukkur Ali, 30, of Berabari village and Uzzal Miah, 27, of Dosshu Narayanpur village.

A correspondent from Chittagong adds Akber Ali Tito, 40, of Swaripara area, died and his daughter was injured when a truck hit his motorcycle at Tigerpass intersection in Chittagong city.
