Road crashes kill 3

Countrywide road accidents killed three people and injured five others yesterday and Monday.

Our Chapainawabganj correspondent reports, Santosh Karmokar, 46, of Omarpur village died and two people were injured when a human-hauler fell into a roadside ditch as the driver lost control over the vehicle at Israil intersection in Shibganj municipal area yesterday.

Our Benapole correspondent reports, Nuruzaman, 25, of Baropota village died and three people were injured when a CNG-run auto-rickshaw hit a motorcycle at Laxonpur bazar in sarsa upazila of Jessore on Monday.

Our Gaibandha correspondent adds Shourav Hossain, 10, son of Aminur Rahman of Sadullapur upazila, died when a three-wheeler ran him over at Patilakura on Enayetpur-Madrasha bazar road yesterday.
