Criticising the prime minister for her yesterday's remark about BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, party joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today said Sheikh Hasina has boarded an Indian train.

“The prime minister could not board any train of Bangladesh Railway. She is now riding a hired train of India,” Rizvi said while addressing media at the party central office at Nayapaltan in the capital.

The BNP leader came down heavily a day after the PM took a jibe at her arch rival Khaleda saying that “Golapi is now riding the upazlia train, having missed the train for national election.”

At a public rally in Sarda of Rajshahi, Hasina, also the president of Awami League, made the remark as BNP is going to join the upazila polls after boycotting parliamentary election.

Terming the PM's statement as 'indecent', Rizvi said, "We along with the countrymen will drive out the hired Indian train from the country through a movement."
