Red alert to nab snatched JMB men

The home ministry today issued a red alert across the country and bordering areas to arrest the snatched operatives of the banned Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan said this while speaking to journalists at his secretariat office this afternoon.

The police headquarters, meanwhile, formed a three-member committee to probe the snatching of three JMB men.

In filmy style, a large group of miscreants intercepted a prison van, opened fire on police, killing a constable, and snatched away three including two death row activists of JMB in Trishal upazila of Mymensingh this morning.

Meanwhile, the law enforcers captured one of the three operatives during a combing operation in Tangail this afternoon.
