PSC staff held in Lalmonirhat over question paper leak

An office assistant of Public Service Commission (PSC) , Dhaka office was arrested in Lalmonirhat early today in a case filed for leaking question papers of the assistant teachers' recruitment test.

Police arrested Majedul Islam, 42, from his Sree Khata house in Kaliganj upazila

around 4:30am, reports our correspondent quoting Mansur Ali, officer-in-charge of Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station.

Detective Branch of police filed the case against Majed with Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station for leaking the question paper of the recruitment test held on April 18.

Police, using technology, got evidence that Majed leaked the questions through sending text SMS to different candidates, said Pradip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Detective Branch of police in Lalmonirhat.

“Majed sent the SMS on April 18,” the OC added.
