Projonmo League stages demo near Khaleda’s office

Activists of Muktijoddha Projonmo League, a pro Awami League organisation, staged a demonstration today near BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office in Dhaka demanding the withdrawal of the nonstop nationwide blockade which has created havoc for people from all walks of life.
Law enforcers stopped over 100 leaders and activists in front of Khaleda’s office with placards started marching towards road No. 86 to lay siege to BNP chief’s office from Gulshan-2 intersection.
The demonstrators chanted slogans against Khaleda for continuing the blockade for an indefinite period of time.
Resisted, some of them crossed the police barricade and reached the main gate of the office where the BNP chief has been staying since January 3.
Police however took them away to another place after ten minutes, said Syrul Kabir Khan, a staff of BNP chairperson's media wing.
