A probe body has recommended formulating multiple sets of question papers and selecting one from that through a lottery in the morning of the examination day to avoid leaks of questions.

The committee, which was formed following an alleged leak of questions of English Second Paper examination under Dhaka Board, also suggested reduction of people’s involvement in the process of preparing question papers.

The seven-member committee headed by Sohrab Hossain, an additional secretary to the education ministry, submitted its report to Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at his office this afternoon.

On receiving the report, the minister said necessary steps would be taken after analysing and evaluating the recommendations critically.

Following the allegation of question leak, the English Second Paper HSC examination scheduled for April 10 was postponed, and it was held on June 8.
