Ershad now opposition leader in JS

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad has been elected leader of the opposition in the 11th Jatiya Sangsad, said a gazette notification issued by the parliament secretariat yesterday.

JP Co-chairman GM Quader has been elected deputy leader of the opposition, it added.

Khandakar Delwar Jalali, JP chairman's deputy press secretary, told BSS that, “A gazette notification has been issued regarding election of Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad [as the] leader of the opposition and its Co-chairman GM Quader deputy leader of the opposition.”
