Militants patronised by BNP-Jamaat: Minister

Shipping minister Shahjahan Khan today said BNP and its key ally Jamaat-e-Islami are patronising the militants in country.

“The members of JMB, Dawat-e-Mujahid and other militants groups are carrying out attacks in Bangladesh using different names,” he said at a programme in Dhaka.

“They (militants) are being patronised by the BNP and Jamaat,” he added.

He was speaking at a programme held at Swadhinata Hall in Dhaka’s Segunbagicha.
