BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has called her alliance leaders in a meeting that is likely to device the course of the 20-party alliance ahead of general elections.

The meeting has been slated for 9:00pm tomorrow at Khaleda’s Gulshan office, Syrul Kabir Khan, a staff of BNP chief’s media wing, told The Daily Star.

Insiders say, the meeting is likely to device the alliance’s next course of action, the country’s recent political developments and her visit to Rohingya camps.

After years of staying dormant, BNP has apparently revived with three mass gatherings – during the welcoming home of Khaleda, her visit to Cox’s Bazar and November 12 rally.

The party that boycotted the last general elections is now beating drum about its demands for the next general election under a neutral non-partisan election-time government.
