JS 20th session tomorrow

The Jatiya Sangsad goes into 20th session tomorrow afternoon after a 38-day recess.

President Abdul Hamid has convened the session exercising the power bestowed upon him by Article 72 (1) of the Constitution, according to the Parliament Secretariat.

The House is scheduled to start at 5:00pm.

Earlier, the 19th session, the first session of 2018, of the 10th parliament was prorogued on February 28 unanimously adopting the thanksgiving motion for the president's speech and passing 15 bills.
