Gas price hike: BNP warns of agitation

BNP today threatened of taking to the streets warning the government against hiking gas price.

The party’s Joint Secretary General Moazzem Hossain Alal issued the warning at a press conference held at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office.

He termed the move to hike gas price as “irrational and anti-people” and hoped the government will “backtrack from its plans to hike the price of the utility.”
