BNP will not boycott Narayanganj City Corporation election whatever happens on polls day, a spokesperson of the party said today.

"There is no question of boycotting the Narayanganj City Corporation election. We will remain in the election race till the last moment," the party’s senior Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed said while speaking at a press briefing at Nayapaltan BNP headquarters.

He also urged the Election Commission to hold a fair election.

His comments came in view of BNP’s history of boycotting the Dhaka and Chittagong City Corporation elections in the middle of the polls back in 2015.
