Md Alamgir Tipu, former president of campus unit dissolved-unit Chhatra League, said they decided to stop their strike at campus from today, our campus correspondent reports.

“We had three demands. Among them, the university has consented to two of them – release of our detained members and no lawsuit over the vandalism at campus yesterday,” he said.

He said, they are considering against their third demand – resignation of the campus’ proctor.

Rivaling factions of Chhatra League clashed at campus the day before yesterday, leading to a series of incidents including police action.
