BNP to sit with pro-opposition professionals tomorrow

BNP will hold a meeting with pro-opposition professionals tomorrow to discuss the country’s latest political development following the arrest of the party Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The meeting is scheduled to hold at Khaleda’s Gulshan office in Dhaka around 5:00pm, Shamsuddin Didar, a member of BNP chairperson media wing, told The Daily Star this evening.

Yesterday, BNP briefed diplomats working in Bangladesh about the country’s latest political development.

Khaleda is now in jail as a special court on February 8 sentenced her to five years imprisonment in Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case.
