AL-led alliance’s anti-militant rallies May 15, 24

The ruling Awami League-led 14-party alliance will hold mass rally this month across the country in protest against the prevailing killings and militant activities.

As per schedule, 14-party leaders will hold a mass rally in Rajshahi on May 15. And on May 24, similar rallies will be staged at upazila level headquarters across the country.

Health minister, also presidium member of the Awami League, Mohammad Nasim, made the announcement at a programme held at the Jatiya Shaheed Minar in Dhaka this afternoon.

The rallies will also be staged protesting the anti-nation conspiracy and to establish democratic stability in the country, Nasim, also spokesperson of the 14-party alliance, said.

AL presidium member Matiya Chowdhury, information minister Hasanul Huq Inu, workers party president Rashed Khan Menon were also present at the programme.
