2 bullet-hit in Natore BCL- JCD clash

Two people including a Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader suffered bullet injuries as Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and Juba Dal activists locked into a clash with Chhatra League activists in Natore town today.

Rabiul Islam Rubel, general secretary of Sadar upazila BCL unit, student wing of Awami League, and a pedestrian suffered bullet injuries when the clash broke out in Alaipur area in the municipality around 11:00am, our Natore correspondent reports quoting Abul Hasnat, additional superintendent of police (Sadar Circle).

The clash broke out when a protest rally of BCL led by Reazul Islam Masum, district unit BCL general secretary, was crossing Alaipur area where activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and Juba Dal, youth front of BNP, gathered in front of their temporary party office, the police official said.

The injured are being treated at Natore Sadar Hospital, he added.
