18th JS session starts this afternoon

The 18th session of the Jatiya Sangsad begins this afternoon.

Before the house goes into the session, the meeting of Business Advisory Committee (BAC) will be held at 3:00pm at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban to fix its duration and other businesses.

Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will chair the meeting while Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and other members of BAC will be present at the meeting.

The JS sitting will start at 4:00pm, Motahar Hossain, director (Public Relations) of Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat told The Daily Star.

The duration of this session is likely to be brief, sources at the Parliament Secretariat said.
