PM greets Tigers

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today congratulated the National Cricket Team for the victory over Afghanistan in their opening match of the World Cup in Australia.

She hoped that Bangladesh Cricket Team will continue their winning trend in the other fixtures.

Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Raushan Ershad and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia greeted the cricket team for their success.

In a greeting message this evening, the premier specially thanked the players, managers, coaches and officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board.

She wished continuous progress of Bangladesh cricket.

Tigers opened their World Cup 2015 book with a big and convincing 105-run victory over Afghanistan in the seventh match of the tournament at Canberra today.
