False post against Daily Star

A false post is being circulated on the social media platform Facebook against The Daily Star and Bangla daily Prothom Alo claiming that these two newspapers are producing fake surveys on election in favour of BNP-Jamaat.

In a propaganda image, it is mentioned that “Prothom Alo and The Daily Star are coming up with fake surveys on the election”.

“The newspapers, in their office made surveys, are giving verdict supporting the arsonist and militant BNP-Jamaat. Stay alert,” stated in the image.

Such propaganda against the two leading newspapers clearly indicates the evil motives of vested quarters.

The Daily Star clearly states that the information of the post is false.
