Ohio woman calls 911 with boa constrictor ‘stuck to her face’

A woman in Ohio has been hospitalised after a boa constrictor reportedly wrapped around her body and latched onto her face.

The panicked 45-year-old anonymous woman on Thursday called 911 for help, and told the dispatcher, "I have a boa constrictor stuck to my, my face."

Authorities later released the call recording.

"There's blood everywhere," the woman said in the call. "I'm on the ground. I'm just scared."

"I've never heard of this before," the dispatcher was heard saying to emergency responders. "I don't even know what..."

The five and a half feet long boa constrictor, which she had rescued along with another one the day before, was found wrapped around the victim's waist and neck and was biting her nose.

It did not let her go until emergency responders cut its head off after they found her lying on her driveway with the reptile wrapped around her, reports The Huffington Post quoting officials.

She was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other boa was in a cage in her Sheffield Lake home, she said, adding that she also had nine ball pythons.
