-    A joint memorandum is issued after talks between Yugoslavia President Marshal Tito and Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The memorandum called for political solution with elected representatives for the Pakistan crisis.
-    A strong Pakistan military unit attack Muktibahini settlement near Kamalpur of Comilla. One Pakistan military officer and 30 soldiers are killed.
-    Daylong gunfight between freedom fighters and Pakistan military in Hilli border under sector 6.
-    Muktibahini fighters attack Pakistan military settlement in Miarbazar under sector 2. Twenty-one Pakistan soldiers are killed and several others injured in the two-hour long fight.
-    One Pakistan military captain, 8 soldiers are killed and several others injured after intense shelling between Muktibahini guerillas and Pakistan military in Bogra’s Tiurpara.
-    UN Secretary General U’thant discusses Bangladesh issue with Indian envoy Samar Sen and Pakistan representative Agashahi at his office.
-    Food and Agriculture Minister Nawzesh Ahmed, in a visit in Kushtia, urged the people to draw inspiration from Pakistan’s ideology and resist the enemy.
