New private airline Air Astra receives NOC from CAAB

New private airline company Air Astra received its no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) today.

The airlines got the NOC within 45 days after applying on September 21, Air Astra said in a Facebook post.

The airline company has plans to launch its commercial operations in the first quarter of next year, it said in its post.

Air Astra will be the third private air operator in Bangladesh after US-Bangla and Novoair.
