United Airways to restart Dhaka-Barisal flights

United Airways (BD) Ltd, a private airline of the country, will restart flying on Dhaka-Barisal route from April 25.
The one way special fare for Dhaka-Barisal will start from Tk 3,000 and return fare will be Tk 6,000 (inclusive of all taxes), the airliner said in a statement yesterday.
Initially, weekly two flights from Dhaka to Barisal will be operating on Thursdays and Sundays.
Bangladesh's first ever public limited company in the aviation sector is now operating more international routes from Dhaka to Jeddah, Dubai, Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Kathmandu and Kolkata and also from Chittagong to Muscat and Kolkata.
The airline is operating flights to all major domestic sectors from Dhaka and in the last six years it operated 36,000 flights.
The career with its fleet of nine aircraft has also plan to operate Dhaka to Singapore, Yangon, Doha, Dammam, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Karachi shortly.
