Taposh wins FIAP Gold Medal in int'l photography competition

Taposh Barua won the FIAP gold medal in the international photography competition organised by Bangladesh Photographic Society (BPS), says a press release.

A total of 235 photographers from 22 countries including United Kingdom, Denmark, Hong-Kong, Vietnam, Ukraine, India and host Bangladesh submitted 1002 photographs for competition.

Taposh is a photo journalist of Dainik Azadi of Chittagong. He also achieved several national and international awards.

The prize giving ceremony and an exhibition of the photographs will start at the Drik Gallery in the city on January 22.
