Stocks plunge continues

The prices of the most shares on the country's premier bourse continued to plunge on Monday.

DGEN, the general index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed 14 points to reach 3,665 points at the end of the day's trading.

Of the issues traded, 204 advanced, 49 declined and 14 remained unchanged.

A total of 55,132 trades were executed with Tk 147 crore changing hands.

On Sunday, the trading at DSE reached 3,650 points after decreasing 6 points.
