Plot:  The story is of Tibro (Shakib Khan), a boy from humble beginning who ends up between a rock and a hard place. We see him wooing two ladies while goons are chasing after him.

Review:

Premik No-1 is an all out masala flick; it had all the right flavours to entertain its viewers for Eid-Ul-Azha. The plot's awfully simple and monotonous; however that turned out to be a positive thing in the case of Premik No-1. No one will be surprised with the climax of the movie, one can always foresee the next scene and how the story will unfold. Yet it does hold its audience with the right balance of comedy, songs, dances and action thrills.
Once again we see Shakib Khan donning the charming lover boy character, he has made the genre his own and his fans won't be disappoint with this movie either. He is seen romancing two leading ladies; Apu Biswas and Nipun. The leading ladies deliver what were expected of them from a Bangla movie; to gyrate their pelvic, deliver obnoxious dialogues while sighing heavily and play second fiddle to the lead “Hero”.
The segments in Singapore are unnecessary and feel redundant. The musical elements in the movie are refreshing and the dance moves are easy to imitate.
The biggest draw of the movie would have to be its action sequences, throughout the movie we witness men flying all over the place. Well coordinated action scenes with sharp and melodramatic dialogues exchanged between the “Villain” and “Hero” keep everyone entertained.
The movie is a tad too lengthy but beside that it does provide with what it promised; catchy music, loud dialogues and gravity defying action... what more can we want from an Eid movie.
