Enforcers to compensate hartal losses: MKA

Home Minister MK Alamgir on Thursday said the government is considering to enact a law with a provision that hartal enforcing parties would compensate all damages of public properties during shutdowns.

"Nowadays hartal has become very destructive," the home minister observed while exchanging views with the business leaders in Chittagong.

"We have to save democracy and resist autocracy for the shake of our country," said Alamgir.

Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries organised the meeting at its auditorium where business leaders were also spoke.
